Student Chapter Formation

The University of Texas at Austin Chapter was established in November of 2013, with 17 members and 1 faculty member, Dr. Jayant Sirohi. The founding officers were President - Brian Catozzi, Vice President - Paige Doerr, External Communications - Hallie Ford, Activities Director - Michael Wisner and Treasurer - Mitchell Boike.
Our vision for this chapter is to enhance understanding and appreciation for the rotorcraft industry within our school’s engineering and scientific community, as well as provide students the opportunity to work with vertical flight projects and technologies.
