Jaunt Air Mobility has formed an impressive team of professionals and critical aerospace partners to achieve the development of Jaunt’s all-electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft for Urban Air Mobility (UAM). Jaunt employs Slowed Rotor Compound (SRC) technology that combines the best attributes of helicopters and airplanes. Before joining Jaunt Air Mobility, Martin was the Vice President of Engineering for Triumph Aerospace Structures responsible for the development of advanced aerospace systems for commercial and military aircraft. Martin is highly regarded by the vertical flight industry for his expert knowledge in all aspects of flight sciences, flight testing and aircraft certification. During his distinguished tenure with Bell Helicopter Martin served in key leadership roles. Martin has served on the prestigious panel for the National Academy of Science and Engineering on Air and Ground Technology where he contributed expert evaluations of technology trends and relevancy of research being performed at DoD facilities. Martin cultivates key relationships within the global aerospace industry and anticipates industry trends in aircraft development and certification. Martin joined VFS in 1978 and is a VFS Technical Fellow.
